Happy weekend everyone! I hope you had an amazing 2017. Every year is not just all filled with happiness. It is a mixture of highs and lows. This year I have had one of the most amazing and unforgettable years of my life so far. These are some of my highs and lows of 2017:

Paris: This year I had one of the best experiences to visit Europe and of course Paris. Paris was so beautiful and I got to adventure the city with my loving family.

Italy: Of course, when visiting Europe we had to stop by Rome and Florence. Italy was filled with romance and art, hence all the museums. I loved walking down the cobblestone paths and looking at all the window displays of designers.

Switzerland: We saw the beautiful Swiss alps and got to try their delicious chocolates. :) When traveling with my family we really got to bond and spend lots of time together. Even though we fought a lot though out our trips we still had a memorable time.

Biking: This was the year I fell in love with biking. I received this beautifully designed Public bike this year. I tried to ride my bike at least two times a month despite the busy, hectic schedules. I love riding bikes because you can just look around at the scenery around you and feel the wind brushing your skin and face, so you feel free.

My blog: One of the greatest highs of the year is of course starting my blog. I finally found a passion worth pursuing. I planned out everything and worked for hours perfecting the look and feel of my blog. Then I actually had to write stuff! To help me write better, I took writing classes to improve myself. This was part of my to-do list for the things I have to do by the end of 2017 and I actually accomplished it!

And for some lows…

I actually did not receive a 4.0 GPA for my first marking period of the year. I have pushed myself to my farthest in my art skills, writing and academics. I have spent lots of time working, but I’m realizing that I should still spend my free time relaxing and enjoying my time instead of watching TV or being a couch potato.

Share with me what are some of your highs and lows of 2017. And stay tuned for more posts that have more writing to give it a more personal touch! I hope you have a happy new year!
